New Purpose in the Blogosphere

Well folks here we go. I am proud to announce that I now have a purpose for this blog. Many of you who grew up near me may remember my dad's 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury, a.k.a. THE BEAST. I am proud to announce that after years and years of dreaming I have made it a priority to return the BEAST to a state of glory. First step; Engine. The 1966 poly 318 that has been in the BEAST for years has given up the ghost. I have decided to replace it with a 1967 318 LA. The 318 was the workhorse of Chrysler for years. It is a small block and not the typical engine that one would use on a muscle car, however, it does have sentimental value and can become a monster cranking out over 400hp. Also, it is much more economical. Anyway there is a long way to go, but I am excited to drop the new engine in and drive the BEAST again. I will post pics as soon as I can.
